Christmas Hero

Check out this video i saw from the Sound Off Blog... pretty sick.

"Former Disney special effects specialist Ric Turner (aka the best dad in the world) set his family up with a fully-functional, 21,268-bulb-strong Guitar Hero-themed holiday arrangement, and programmed it to play Eric Johnson’s “Cliffs of Dover.

When you play, you watch only the Christmas lights, but the audio you hear is from the Wii, so your flubs are broadcast for all to hear (people in cars can tune 99.1 and crank it up as loud as they want.) When we are not playing, a separate version of the program that has the audio from the recorded game plays with the lights as a loop."

  1. Nice to have a special effects specialist as your dad!

    Yo, been meaning to give you a heads up.

    Your videos are cut because of the layout settings of your blog. I had the same problem, but just went into LAYOUT/EDIT HTML and scrolled down to "Outer-Wrapper" and increased the width to 860 px. It's really easy. I copied the block of text you're looking for in the html edit window below>>>

    /* Outer-Wrapper
    ----------------------------------------------- */
    #outer-wrapper {
    width: 860px;
    margin:0 auto;
    font: $bodyfont;
